LITTERATURE – LANGUE Identité et enjeux de l'enseignement d'une littérature

Résumé

Tous les acteurs sont concernés par la littérature orale aujourd'hui au Mali. Les documents de formation actuels sont en français et bien qu'il existe une riche culture traditionnelle variée, comme la musique des donso, ils sont pauvres. En effet, ils tiennent la tradition en mauvaise estime. Or celle-ci, dont la valeur est établie partout ailleurs devrait au
contraire aider les programmes sans perdre leur valeur esthétique.

The teaching of oral literature concerns all the actors for education in Mali. The actual syllabi outline documents and excerpts in French, such as booklets of tales and epic, and the like. Hence, major genders, like the "donsomana", are hushed leading to drowning out oral genders
and by the same token impoverishing the field. However, there exist a very rich and varied production available both in audios and audiovisuals from ascertained and creative masters of
the parole recognized all over the sub-region. All in all, both the teaching of oral literature and even the whole nation would gain in integrating traditional literature in all its various forms into school and university programs; and neither their aesthetic quality nor their cultural value would be disregarded.
