The objective of the EPI in Mali is to vaccinate women of childbearing age, children 0-23 months. Objective was to describe the socio-demographic profile of children aged 12-23 months who had never been vaccinated. Materials and methods: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study. The analysis was done with Epi info 7.2 and Word 16 for drafting the document. To participate in this study, you had to be a child residing in the area. Children who were not Ménaka circle residents were non included from the study. Results: 90% of children were born at home and 86.67% lived in rural areas. Married women represented 87.67% and 93.33% were housewives. 90% of mothers said they never refused to be vaccinated their children. We have 13.79% of children who have already contracted an EPI disease. Out-of-school mothers were 76.67%. The female gender dominated among children with 76.67%. Their average age was 15.37 months +/-4.05. Conclusion: This study shows that home birth can influence the vaccination status of children. Other studies may complement our results.
