Main Article Content
Abstract
Ischemic cardiomyopathy is frequently found in HIV-infected people. Meanwhile, thromboembolism is rare. We report an observation of a man admitted in hospitalization for ischemic cardiomyopathy related to HIV with alcohol and smoking factors. Cardiac ultrasound showed thrombi in both ventricles. After one week of hospitalization, the patient died in a context of pulmonary embolism suspicion. The aim of this observation is to show the interest of early diagnostic of ischemic cardiomyopathy related to HIV.
